There are two major tournaments currently running, the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP), which is the same as the World Series of Poker. WCOOP is the largest online poker tournament in the world and holds the record for the largest online payout of $2.2 million. The other established in 2009 and growing in popularity is the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) which has three different buy in levels.

Currently their ‘Flag Ship’ is the weekly Sunday Million tournament, guaranteeing a $1 million pool pot with a $215 buy in. This has now become the biggest weekly online tournament in the world. In 2011 it broke all records with 59128 players creating a prize pool of nearly $12million.
